welcome to our kingdom!
Our center promotes optimal growth and development in an
educational and nurturing environment.
Special adaptations are made to ensure each child's participation in
our programs.
Our goal is to provide a place where children are accepted for who
they are as individuals, and are challenged based upon their own
abilities. We achieve this through early childhood experiences in
which children learn to respect others for their differences as well
as their similarities.
A typical child who attends Kidz Kingdom will benefit from low adult
to child ratios, a sense of empathy toward people who are different,
learning how to accept others, as well as themselves, in spite of
any challenges which they may face. Children who learn in the Kidz
Kingdom environment also gain a sense of positive self-esteem.
Everyone around them is supportive and loving, and challenges them
to their full potential.
WHAT WE DO....
The amendment of California State Senate Bill 126 recognizes
medically fragile children and their need for pediatric daycare.
Children with medically fragile conditions suffer from the absence
of appropriate day health care services rendered by qualified
providers to enhance their physical and developmental potential.
As a result of this bill, eligible children now receive every
opportunity to grow and develop; to gain self-help, social and
independent-living skills; and to receive necessary medical
interventions in the enriching, stimulating environment of a
qualified pediatric day health and respite care facility.
Pediatric day health care is an effective way to provide a
community-based non-institutional resource for families. It promotes
child health, development and well-being; eliminates the isolation
of the child inherent in home health care; preserves family unity;
and provides an opportunity for parents to continue or return to
employment.
